Global excess refining capacity to grow 1.1 million b/d by 2021: IEA

Global surplus refining capacity is expected to rise by more 1 million b/d to 5.3 million b/d in 2021 creating “significant pressure” on refining margins in the medium term, the International Energy Agency said.
