Canadian Oil Sands said June 10 that Syncrude Canada advanced 50 days of planned turnaround maintenance on Coker 8-1 at the northern Alberta oil sands project. The turnaround was scheduled to occur in the second half of 2013 but was advanced because of reduced throughput.
