According to reports, Holcim has increased its capacity in Bangladesh through a Tk.300 crore investment, bringing total cement production capacity in the country to 20 lakh tonnes per annum. Bangladesh is experiencing growth in cement demand amounting to about 8% per year, as a number of significant infrastructure projects are in the pipeline.
