Noranda to maintain status quo at Missouri smelter if power costs are cut

Noranda Aluminum is promising to maintain for 10 years investment and employment levels at its 263,000 mt/year New Madrid primary aluminum smelter if Missouri regulators approve the company's request for electricity rate relief.
