The chief executive of Rio Tinto Ltd.’s aluminum division is stepping down

The company announced Wednesday that aluminum industry veteran Jacynthe Côté is leaving Rio Tinto Alcan to pursue other interests. Her replacement will be Alfredo Barrios, who worked for oil giant BP PLC and will relocate to Montreal.
