Alstom and Isolux to convert a power plant from fuel oil to petroleum coke

Alstom and Isolux have signed a contract with Mexico’s Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) to convert two 158 MW units at the Altamira thermoelectric power station in Mexico. Alstom’s share in the contract is worth close to €90 million1. The units currently running on fuel oil will be converted to petroleum coke units
