Shell plans to shut California refinery coking unit -company

Royal Dutch Shell Plc (Xetra:R6C1.DE - news) has asked California pollution regulators to approve a plan to shut the coking unit at the company's 156,400 barrel per day (bpd) San Francisco Bay-area refinery in Martinez, California.
