ConocoPhillips boosts estimate of Eagle Ford barrels

ConocoPhillips says it’s sitting on even more oil in its Eagle Ford Shale acreage than it thought.The company this week increased its estimates from 1.8 billion to 2.5 billion barrels of oil in the South Texas field.ConocoPhillips expects to produce 250,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day by 2017 in the Eagle Ford.
