Japan utilities' coal, gas use hit record in 2013/14

Japan's main utilities consumed
record volumes of thermal coal and gas for power generation in
the year ended March amid the shutdown of the country's reactors
in the wake of the Fukushima nuclear disaster, industry data
showed on Monday.
