Steel input costs fall globally but stay firm in India

While coking coal fell to $98-100 a tonne on Thursday from $132-134 a tonne on January 1, iron ore softened by 17 per cent to trade at $113.5 a tonne on Friday from $137.5 a tonne at the beginning of the year.
