Global thermal coal demand to grow 2.75 pct a year until 2017

Global demand for thermal coal will rise slightly in coming years driven by Japan, South Korea and emerging markets such as India, while its use in China will peak and European and North American demand will fall, Goldman Sachs said on Tuesday.
